Rome, 9 November 2020 - CDP Venture Capital SGR launches the Boost Innovation Fund, aimed at investments for the establishment and development of new startups, which involve the participation of large Italian companies right from the start. The Fund has an initial amount of 50 million euro of assets under management fully subscribed by CDP Equity.

Lorenzo Franchini will be the Manager of the Boost Innovation Fund. With 14 years of experience as an entrepreneur, investor and advisor in the field of venture capital, Lorenzo was also founder of ScaleIT, a venture capital and open innovation platform that contributed to the networking between Italian scaleups and international venture capitalists. Last but not least, he is co-founder of IAG, the leading Italian business angels network.
