Digital Brokerage Europe (or “DBE”), who recently executed the go-to-market of the digital brokerage lending
platform “Léally”, announces that it has received an investment in equity from CDP Venture Capital SGR, as part of
the company's seed round. The investment was carried out through the Digital Transition Fund alongside the longterm
investor Leonardo Srl.
DBE plans to use these funds to accelerate the introduction of the Léally platform on the Italian market by increasing
the number of lender partners and offering financing for microenterprises. The Léally platform digitizes the entire
credit brokerage process to support the provision of financing to SMEs. The platform is marketed by Léally Srl, a
lending brokerage company registered at no. M613 of the OAM List, 100% controlled by DBE and not subject to
dilution. The landing page to the service – for now by invitation only - is visible on www.leally.com.
“We are thrilled that CDP Venture Capital has decided to give concrete support to DBE's mission of facilitating access
to credit for SMEs, overcoming the difficulties that more than two-thirds of them encounter in obtaining financing"
said the co-founders Andrea Rovellini and Luigi Gado, respectively Chairman and CEO of DBE, “as a result of this
entry, we are already seeing growing interest from new lenders in collaborating with Léally.”
"We are very pleased to support Digital Brokerage Europe, which aims to accelerate the digital transition of credit
brokerage and streamline the process of accessing credit for micro and small businesses through its innovative Léally
platform,” said Enrico Filì, Head of the Digital Transition Fund at CDP Venture Capital. “Thanks to the
consolidated experience of its founders and the support of long-term investors, we are convinced that DBE will
contribute significantly to the development and growth of Italian SMEs.”
Bank lending to Italian non-financial SMEs decreased from € 331 billion in 2019 to € 266 billion in 2024, mainly due
to the closure of 4,658 out of 24,312 bank branches. DBE's proprietary know-how is represented by the software
(protected by copyright) composed of algorithms governed by a domain language, for matching the profiles of SMEs
seeking for financing with more than 400 credit and commercial parameters provided by any single lender.
