We make minority investments in innovative startups and SMEs, alongside independent private investors, with a stake of up to 70% of the total value of new capital in the financing round. We are looking for teams of ambitious entrepreneurs who want to build major companies and who show the required skills, scalable business models, and good growth metrics. The fund's investment strategy focuses in investments in rounds A, B and C.
The Fund invests across all sectors, but with a particular focus on DeepTech, MedTech, BioTech and anything in the Digital sphere.

At Italy Venture I Fund he deals with growth capital investments, early stage and tech-transfer in the areas of DeepTech, Space, MedTech, Digital, ICT and FoodTech. He is board member in 4 startups.

Senior Investment Manager
With over 12 years of Corporate Finance experience, Gianluigi has an international background in M&A, JVs and ECM, and a passion for the technology and innovation sectors.
At Italy Venture I Fund he deals with portfolio management and value creation. Prior to joining the CDP Venture Capital family, Gianluigi originated and executed projects across Europe, Americas and Asia serving as Director Corporate Finance at ABN AMRO Bank in Amsterdam. In the past he also worked at EY, KPMG and Enel Green Power.
Gianluigi holds a MSc with honors in Corporate Finance from LUISS Guido Carli University and is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.

Dario Di Lorenzo
Over four years of experience, first in the Generali Group's Investment Division (Milan) and then in M&A advisory (London). At Italy Venture I Fund he deals with FinTech, InsurTech, ICT, FoodTech and MedTech.

Previous experience in the Private Equity branch of Rothschild & Co in Paris, at Mérieux Equity
Partners, a French-American Venture Capital firm specialized in healthcare investments, and in

Cybersecurity, Green Economy, AgTech, FoodTech and MedTech.
