Francesca Ottier
Senior PartnerWith over 20 years’ experience in private equity and venture capital at IMI Fondi Chiusi SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), prior to her appointment as Senior Partner at Italy Venture II Fund, Francesca served, at first, as Managing Director of the Fondo Mezzogiorno (with an endowment of €100 million) focused on investments in SMEs in Southern Italy. In 2010, she joined the Fondo Atlante Private Equity (€150 million in capital) targeting Italian SMEs with high growth prospects.
From 1993 to 2001 she worked at Istituto Mobiliare Italiano, carrying out M&A and Merchant Banking activities.
Francesca serves as a board member of several investee companies, in the medtech, artificial intelligence, augmented/virtual reality, and e-commerce sectors.
Degree in Economics and Commerce from La Sapienza University of Rome.
