
Vincenzo Di Nicola
Senior Partner in charge of the FundAn OMRI Knight of the Republic, Vincenzo grew up professionally in Silicon Valley. He was Head of Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation at INPS, where he led a structure that introduced modern Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance citizen services, winning important national and international awards.
In the past, Vincenzo co-founded Conio, a startup for the management and custody of cryptocurrencies and digital assets, participated and integrated in relevant Italian financial institutions, receiving patents in both the US and Europe. Vincenzo was also CTO and co-founder of GoPago, a mobile payments startup in San Francisco (technology acquired by Amazon), led the Real Time Behavioral Targeting team at Microsoft (Redmond and Beijing), and as an intern contributed significantly to the development of Yahoo! (Sunnyvale).
A strong supporter of the ‘give back’ principle, Vincenzo taught Computer Science courses at high schools in Abruzzo for years, and co-founded ./cogita ETS, a non-profit association for the dissemination of computer science and entrepreneurial culture among Italian students.
Vincenzo has an honour degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bologna and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford.
