Rome, 19 July 2021 - As of today, 19 July, Caterina Siclari joins CDP Venture Capital as Head of the Rilancio Startup Fund, the 200 million euro fund allocated by the Ministry of Economic Development and entrusted to CDP Venture Capital Sgr to support and strengthen the link among operators of the Italian venture capital ecosystem.
Caterina gained solid experience in consulting for startups and SMEs as a partner and co-founder of AGS Advisory and previously in KPMG, dedicating a large part of her activities and her profession to innovation. She collaborated with the chair of Competitive Strategies of Luigi Bocconi University and was a Startup Tutor at the PoliHub in Milan.

With Caterina's addition, the Rilancio Startup Fund consolidates its team and continues to evaluate the 160 startup and SME applications collected in the first 6 months of operations and coming from over 470 investors who were accredited on the dedicated portal.

The Rilancio Startup Fund operates by collecting and evaluating referrals of innovative startups and SMEs from qualified and regulated investors (VC funds, business angels, family offices) who have recently invested, or are investing in them. The loans are convertible loans, in matching with the proposing investors and with other investors involved, with an overall limit of 1 million euro per single transaction.
