Innovation, research and technology transfer: Memorandum of Understanding signed between Invitalia and CDP Venture Capital
Rome, 27 May 2024. Invitalia and CDP Venture Capital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate and pool expertise, tools and networks in the areas of innovation, scientific research and technology transfer.
Specifically, the MoU provides for the strengthening and promotion of synergies between Invitalia and CDP Venture Capital to support, on the one hand, investment opportunities from the SGR for start-ups benefiting from the national Smart&Start incentive scheme managed by Invitalia, and on the other the possibility for start-ups already in the portfolios of investment funds managed by CDP Venture Capital to receive recognition of the Smart&Start incentive from Invitalia.
Invitalia and CDP Venture Capital will share research projects, patents and start-ups receiving investment from the National Technology Transfer Hubs set up on the initiative of CDP Venture Capital, as well as those developed through funding projects and schemes managed by Invitalia, either with a view to receiving incentives and subsidies from the Agency or for an assessment of investment opportunities by CDP Venture Capital.
