Palermo, April 14, 2025 – - Keplera, a legal tech startup that simplifies the creation and management of legal documents, has closed a €770,000 investment round led by the Magic Mind accelerator, participated by Zest and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, by OpenT, the 50/50 joint venture between Tinexta and Zest, and by Frontech, the accelerator for frontier technologies, launched on the initiative of CDP Venture Capital together with co-investors GELLIFY and Cariplo Factory, as well as the Institutional Partner Fondazione Sardegna.

Keplera has developed LexHero, an all-in-one solution to manage legal documents more efficiently and securely. LexHero incorporates artificial intelligence-based features, such as an intelligent editor, which facilitates the creation, storage, sharing and signing of documents. The software enables end-to-end encryption for secure document management, which is essential for companies handling sensitive information. In 2025, Keplera is experiencing significant growth, thanks to a steady increase in turnover and ongoing collaborations with major players such as Infocert, OpenDotCom and ENEA. In addition, the company has also started its activities in the corporate world with companies such as Edison, Banca Popolare dell'Emilia-Romagna and the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.

Founded with the mission of innovating legal services, the startup operates in a sector, the legal tech sector, which reached a value of $26.70 billion globally in 2023 and is expected to reach $55.00 billion by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.80% over the period 2024-2029.

"We are very excited about the innovations we are bringing to the legal sector, and the round we have just closed will enable us to mantain healthy yet rapid growth by continuing to invest in technology and the development of domestic and international markets. In addition, working with world-class partners gives us the opportunity to constantly improve and open up new market perspectives. Finally, we are very happy with the contribution made in our territory, Sicily, offering impact and opportunities thanks to strong and constant relationships with Italian and foreign realities" said Manfredi Domina, CEO of Keplera.

"Artificial Intelligence is redefining the future of the legal sector, radically transforming the way law firms and consulting companies operate. Keplera perfectly embodies our vision for AI: a strategic ally that optimises document management, accelerates processes and empowers professionals in their work, creating an ecosystem where efficiency and innovation go hand in hand" said Gabriele Ronchini, Ceo of Zest Investments and Vice Chairman of OpenT's Investment Committee.

"Keplera's recent funding round confirms the strategic value of AI in the legal sector. Through OpenT, the Tinexta Group supports innovative solutions that optimise processes, improve efficiency and enhance the work of professionals. Keplera is a concrete example of how artificial intelligence can revolutionise document management and consulting, in line with our vision of an increasingly evolved digital future" said Valerio Zappalà Group Chief M&A and Integration Officer of Tinexta and Managing Director of OpenT.

"The investment in Keplera is particularly satisfying for us. We strongly believe in this team's project, which aims to use artificial intelligence to streamline a complex sector such as the legal one, which is apparently detached from technological innovation. This type of entrepreneurial project reflects exactly the target audience we want to reach with Frontech. We are convinced that technology and AI can be used in all productive sectors and that through Keplera's innovations it can improve the work of thousands of professionals" said Stefano Molino, Head of the Accelerators Fund of CDP Venture Capital.
