Claris Ventures

Claris Ventures is a venture capital operator based in Italy specialized in early stage investments in companies active in the development of new drugs with high potential, born from the Italian research network – both local and international.

Its first fund, Claris Biotech I, was launched in September 2020 with the aim to identify and support innovations in the pharmaceutical field, investing in new companies that develop potential drugs that can revolutionize the current treatment scenario in indications with limited therapeutic alternatives.

The investment strategy is focused on biotech projects ready to start clinical studies in which Claris Ventures trough Claris Biotech I, will provide the resources to fund the completion of preclinical studies and a first human study.
